OFF-LEASH PARKS:

FOMDAC remains concerned that adequate areas of parks remain off-lead.

DOG PARK:

We are currently negotiating with Manningham Council over available sites. FOMDAC is of the opinion that if council cannot assist in providing us with a site that will fulfill our well-defined aims and provide the potential to grow over time, it would be best not to proceed with the venture at this time.

FOMDAC will continue to pursue our goal of a suitable location for the Dog Park.

DOG POO BINS:

The Committee met with a member of the Manningham Council’s waste department to ascertain if more dog poo bins could be placed in various locations. At the moment no more bins will be provided however we were assured that dog poo can be placed in street litter bins.
